Feature - expand chat space in private messages

The current space to type in private messages is too small. Can we implement a line in the middle of the highlighted area, just like in AIGNE (see 2nd pic) where when you press it, the chat box then expands more and when you press it again it minimizes to default? Just to give the users more space to write and then check their writing after
