Link to private message
To make it easier when messaging other community members privately could we implement an area in the community member to access members that are online and available to chat, where you could just click on their name and it would take you to a direct message instead of having to go to messages/notifications and search the user to create a new message in private. This would be particularly useful especially if someone uses multiple profiles for community (I know a lot of the team have a few separate ones) this way we could ensure we’re making contact on the active one. Could add a setting to make it unavailable also if users did not want to be contacted via DM.

Similar in Terms of the online part but my main point here is having the ability to direct link through to a message by a function to click on the user name to DM rather than searching to find the online profile (if user has multiple accounts) so aside from the “online” indicator it‘s a completely different function I would question this being a duplicate as my point is less so regarding the online part (that would be a side function once implemented) as per the title my point is having the ability to “link to a direct message” 🤪😅
My point highlighted almost instantly when attempting to tag you z1VV21NqNWkiadznN32ALkos5dQqQwnCMty multiple profiles with the same name, this would be the same if I was to search for you to send a DM but having the ability to direct message you from a list of users that are currently active by directly clicking on the profile that is online would make it much easier 👍
