Reward pools twitter suggestion

Here’s a different approach: remove the twitter followers multiplier for future pools. Make the multiplier on something like number of posts the user has made about arcblock so far. Seems more fair💯

Yes I like this idea of not based on followers, but it should be based on content and how often they post. There are guys out here doing great writes up on ABT that should be rewarded.. that's my opinion.

Focus on Bug Bounties and also provide funds for developers to utilize (free upgraded DID space for a period etc ..)

Promotional reward pools, based on simple tasks like tweeting, are inherently flawed and cannot be assessed fairly. From my experience with the airdrop meta from 2022 to late 2023, I observed that bots often dominate majority of the allocations. Even when follower count multipliers are removed, individuals can easily create or purchase Twitter accounts and make multiple posts to have multiple entries(any preventive metrics such as account age and tweet frequency can be spoofed easily).

Such tasks, open to everyone, are susceptible to exploitation by armies of bots that scale rapidly and extensively, making it impossible for genuine participants to compete. Algorithms can never ensure fairness when relying on superficial metrics like impressions, tweet length, or even content quality especially when AI tools like GPT can easily generate content. Human assessment only introduces bias and centralization, contradicting the principles of decentralization.

Instead, focus on bug bounties, where skilled programmers are rewarded based on their technical expertise and real contributions. While this approach might initially seem unfair due to a small pool of developers claiming most rewards, as the ecosystem grows, the distribution will naturally become more equitable.

The only way to truly prevent abuses like fake accounts and bot manipulation is through irl KYC bound per participant, but this goes against the core tenets of decentralization. Therefore, adopting a bug bounty system offers a more sustainable, fair, and decentralized method of rewarding genuine contributions to the project.
