Great question! Full decentralization is not something that happens overnight — it’s a journey. At ArcBlock we approach it in three main steps:
Technology-first – Our Blocklet architecture, DID, and token-based services are all designed to run in a decentralized way. For example, Blocklet Server natively supports self-hosting, SSL, WAF, and node independence.
Ecosystem empowerment – Instead of everything being driven by the company, we focus on empowering developers with reusable kits (discuss kit, vote kit, token vault, etc.) so communities and DAOs can grow organically on top of ArcBlock.
Progressive governance – We believe decentralization is not just technical, but also cultural. That’s why we’ve launched community-driven events like buildathons, reward pools, and developer incentives to gradually shift more control to the ecosystem itself.
So, the steps are already happening: tech is ready, ecosystem is growing, and governance is evolving. It’s not 100% yet, but every quarter we’re moving closer.
