Didn’t receive DID space after purchase.

I tried to get a DID space but the space wasn’t received. I was using DID wallet on my iPhone.

Hi, sorry to hear that you were not able to purchase a DID Space successfully, we just confirmed a bug when a user subscribes with the following steps:

  1. Initiate a subscription with USD as payment, but do not confirm stripe payment details.
  2. Then change the payment method to ABT, and confirm in DID Wallet, the delegation and staking transactions will be successfully executed on chain, however, the subscription will not go active as expected, NFT minting will not trigger because the subscription is not active.

We have fixed the bug and upgraded the service, you can try to subscribe again.

Before you try again, a few things to clarify:

  • DID Spaces did not charge you anything even though the transactions are executed on chain.
  • You can choose to revoke your stake for the failed subscription before continuing, the revoke can be done in your DID Wallet.

Thank you so much for your help. I’m not exactly sure how to revoke it. I pushed retrieve, and it says 364 days.

I received what appeared to be a refund this morning & purchased the space- I did receive it, that’s the good news lol But it charged me again.IMG_0687.jpegIMG_0689.pngIMG_0695.png

Please note that the 2 transactions from your above screenshot are not the same:

  1. The 10 ABT is a payment, which is required to make the DID Space subscription succeed, usually, you will not get back ABT on this transaction, since it's what you need to pay for the service, it's also the start of the recurring billing of the subscription
  2. The 11 ABT is a staking, it's not paid to the service, you can get it back through revoking from your DID Wallet, this transaction is required for now to ensure users always pay future invoices on time if they fail to, the staking may be slashed to pay overdue invoices.

In the upcoming release of DID Wallet, the staking transaction will be displayed and approved in a more user-friendly way to avoid confusion.

And Payment Kit will be improved so that user can get back their stake immediately upon subscription end or cancellation.
