New comment - standard labels prior to editing

I notice when adding a new comment this automatically assigns as an announcement if it isn’t edited prior to posting. Would it be possible to change the default setting to this as uncategorised or alternatively change the layout of the category selection so that it forms part of the initial post in a visual manner when writing the post… in other words I keep forgetting to set the category when I send a post because it isn’t immediately obvious, it’s only when I have posted I see it’s categorised as an announcement and I have to jump back in and edit this. If the options were more visual on the add section rather than hidden behind the small icon it would be easier to remember to set the category prior to posting 😅
