"New Tab" Recommendation Failure

Summary

When opening a New Tab in the Arcsphere browser, the page fails to populate with any recommended content, frequently visited sites, or "Top Sites" shortcuts. The screen remains a static dark background with only a central "+" icon, providing no immediate navigation options to the user.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Arcsphere app.
  2. Tap on the Tab Switcher or the New Tab (+) icon.
  3. Observe the content of the newly created tab.
  4. Compare this to the search history, which is active and shows past Facebook and Marketplace activity.

Expected Result

The New Tab page should display a curated list of recommendations, recently visited websites, or a "Top Sites" grid to facilitate quick navigation, similar to standard modern browsers.

Actual Result

The New Tab page is entirely empty. While the search bar history shows that the user has been active on sites like Facebook Marketplace and iPhone searches, none of this data is being used to populate recommendations on the "New Tab" landing page.
