Duplicate ArcSphere Security Notifications
Summary: ArcSphere is sending duplicate "You are logged in on a new device" notifications simultaneously for the same login event.
Environment:
- App: ArcSphere

- Time of occurrence: Wednesday, 11 Feb, 5 PM
Description: Upon logging in, the system triggers duplicate push notifications for the same security event. The screenshot shows two identical notifications regarding a new device login ("Mozil..." and "okht...") appearing under the ArcSphere group at the exact same time (1m ago).
Steps to Reproduce:
- Log into the ArcSphere account on a mobile device.
- Check the system notification tray on the mobile device.
- Observe two or more identical "logged in on a new device" notifications appearing at once.
Expected Behavior: Only one security notification should be sent per unique login event to avoid cluttering the notification tray and causing unnecessary user alarm.
Actual Behavior: The system is firing duplicate notifications for a single login session.
Impact:
- User Experience: Clutters the notification shade.
- Security Concern: Users may become desensitized to security alerts if they see them in duplicate, or it may cause false concern that multiple unauthorized logins are occurring simultaneously.
