Follow feed comments

Could we implement notifications for comments on a feed that we have commented on for example if (A) made a post, (B) commented on the post, (C) later adds a comment to the same post feed, (B) would get a notification in addition to (A) the original author. This way we could keep up with any progression or updates for posts we are interested in rather than just being notified for posts we submit or are directly replied to if that makes sense?  Or if we could add in a keyword such as Follow or maybe the 👀 emoji that would give notifications for further comments on the feed?
